Lincoln-West School of Global Studies is pleased to announce that six of our students will have the opportunity to participate in the Lifting Puerto Rico Youth Project.
The Lifting Puerto Rico Youth Project is designed with the goal of creating globally competent individuals by participating in service-learning projects that tie deeply into content specifically taught this school year. Included in this email you fill find the summary report of the project.
We are relying heavily on donations and fundraising for students to be able to travel to Puerto Rico and participate in this project. With your help, students can expand learning outside of the traditional classroom. This experience is especially meaningful for our students who come from underprivileged homes and would not otherwise be able to attend an experience like this without your support and donations.
We would be incredibly grateful for your support. There are several ways you can make a donation.
Attend our Lifting Puerto Rico Youth Project Gala that will be held on March 18th from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at our campus, Lincoln West High School. Tickets will cost $75 per person or $500 for a table of 8.
Donate Items/baskets to raffle at the Gala.
Make a monetary or materials donation for any of the service projects listed in the summary report.
Additionally, if none of the above ways to donate appeal to you, any donation is greatly accepted and appreciated.
Your sponsorship would give a huge boost to our students and will make a real difference in their lives and the lives of individuals that they will touch.
Your sponsorship will also be publicly acknowledged. Thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing from you.
