Congregation Shir Hadash, Lincoln Glen Church, and Evergreen Islamic Center invite you to prepare and serve a hot and hearty meal to hungry and homeless neighbors in San Jose. Volunteers will first prepare dinner at Congregation Shir Hadash (shift 1), then convoy together to serve dinner at a soup kitchen in downtown San Jose (shift 2). After meal service, volunteers will also enjoy a kosher and halal dinner together. Bring your family. Children ages 10 and older are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by parents. No childcare is provided. Enjoy good friends, good food, and good fun! Register now. Space is limited.
