Please join us on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Vidalakis Dining Hall in Schwab Residential Center. The event celebrates the history, presence, and impact of the Latino community at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) and encourages engagement between the business and Latino communities. The Banquet also serves as a call to action to galvanize greater representation, leadership, and engagement at the GSB. The event is named after Professor Emeritus Jerry I. Porras, whose work in organizational vision and leadership is widely admired. Much like his academic work, the Banquet aims to promote vision and leadership within the Latino community. Schedule: 6:00 pm - Reception 7:00 pm - Dinner and Award Ceremony 9:00 pm - Dance 2023 Jerry I. Porras Latino Leadership Award Recipient Josh Golomb (MBA '01) Josh has two decades of experience bringing innovative healthcare delivery models to life. Today, he is the CEO of Hazel Health, the leading telehealth provider for school-age children. Hazel Health partners with school districts and health plans to provide physical and mental health care to over two million students across 14 states, providing care at school or at home. Hazel dramatically increases healthcare access, bringing technology and diverse and phenomenal healthcare providers that specialize in the health challenges of children and teens. Hazel's providers reflect the communities they serve with 50% that identify as BIPOC and 40% that speak at least two languages fluently. Prior to joining Hazel, Josh led primary-care-disruptor Everside Health, as its CEO. Everside provides full-service concierge-style primary and urgent care to employers and public entities. With a focus on strategic growth, Josh partnered with the top national and regional healthcare payers to develop this new delivery model. Under his leadership, Everside expanded to over 60 clinics across 15 states. Before Everside, Josh co-founded and led a specialty pharmacy business DaVita Rx, the largest full-service pharmacy developed for the unique needs of patients with kidney disease and other chronic conditions. Josh co-founded the business and led it until it reached over $1B in revenue, establishing the company as the clear market leader in its space. Josh’s early career broadened his exposure to a variety of businesses at leading global strategy consulting firm, Bain & Company. He joined Bain after completing his MBA from Stanford University, where he had also completed his undergraduate degree. Josh initially launched his career focused on the public good at the Urban Strategies Council and the Partners in School Innovation. He has been able to come full circle with this original passion to serve educators and students in the work he does now as Hazel’s CEO. Josh has three amazing sons Gabriel, Nico and Mateo with his wife Julia. He also serves on the Board for the Foundation for Hearing Research, which transforms the lives of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, teaching them to listen, speak, and learn. One of the children they supported was Josh’s oldest son Gabriel. Additional Information For questions or more information, please contact [email protected].
