Please join us as we prepare 60 liters of soups in 4 different varieties that will be donated to Nourish NJ! While we wait for our soups to be ready, we will enjoy a delicious dinner that Healthy Italia prepares for us. After dinner, and when the soups are ready, we will create ingredient labels and write a note to Nourish NJ. It's a fun way to spend time together while contributing to a worthwhile cause! Nourish.NJ MISSION STATEMENT : nourish.NJ creates lasting solutions to the problems of hunger, homelessness and poverty. We offer food, housing, work readiness, medical, social and educational services 365 days a year in a barrier free and caring environment, free of charge, no questions asked. We are 100% funded by community donations. nourish.NJ provides healthy breakfast and lunch meals seven days a week, to anyone who comes seeking nourishment. On average, we provide 76,000 meals each year. In addition to serving meals, we hold Free Farmers Markets five days a week, providing fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and dairy for guests to take home The nourish.NJ Outreach Center approaches its work in a holistic manner, providing wraparound services that address our guests needs in all areas of their lives. When guests approach us in need of help, there are no questions asked and no paperwork required. This gives everyone the opportunity to receive services, no matter what their individual situation might be. All our services are free of charge.
