Join Miss. Black Illinois USA 2023 as she celebrates Women's History Month. This Sisterhood Empowerment Brunch will bring young women ages 12-18 from Chicago West Suburbs together for a morning of love, fellowship, and inspiration. We will begin our event with an icebreaker activity accompanied by the sounds of empowering music. The event will feature a full brunch buffet with refreshments. The program will feature an engaging multi-generational panel discussion with women trailblazers in the fields of mental health, entrepreneurship, and academia, which will inspire young women to connect with their passions and cultivate a sisterhood in their community. Attire: Semi-Formal Brunch - Shades of Melanin (think Hillary & Ashley Banks from Bel-Air, a.k.a. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) *Students, please be prepared to show your school ID with your ticket at the door.* Panel participants will be announced prior to the event!
