June 19 | Transylvania County Campus | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dream it. Machine it. A one-day introduction to the world of advanced manufacturing open to rising 7th through 9th graders. Students will receive an introduction to computer-aided drafting and machining, emphasizing manufacturing processes in our state-of-the-art machining facility. This one-day camp combines learning new skills with having fun. Students will even get to take home one of their own metal creations! Now, let’s get machining! Students will be responsible for their lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle with a lid each day. Dress Code: Students must wear long pants; a shirt/ top with sleeves; and closed-toe/ heel shoes (like tennis shoes) no flip flops or sandals. Camp Rules Refund Policy
