She Builds is a month-long program through Rebuilding Together New Orleans that is designed to empower women in the community and serve low-income female homeowners. For this workshop, we'll be meeting in our warehouse at 2801 Marais St rom 10:00am-12:00pm to learn from Mastodonte, a women and BIPOC - owned business that does stormwater management within the city. We'll be learning together about power tool safety and usage, and then using this knowledge to build a sawhorse. All safety gear will be provided, but please wear closed-toes shoes.
