Join over a dozen LGBTQ-serving organizations and community for a celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) on Saturday, April 1st from 2pm-6pm CT at Fondren Park in Jackson, Mississippi. Can't make it in person? Host a Watch Party or hang out at home and join us virtually! We will stream the event LIVE to Facebook and YouTube (details TBA). Q&A: Q: Is this a family friendly event? A: Yes! Q: Should I register? A: Yes! If you register, you will receive FREE event swag! Q: Is this event FREE? A: Yes! Community can attend for free. Bring a card or cash if you would like to purchase items for sale and/or tip performers. Q: How should I dress? A: Dress comfortably and/or as you would for a Pride Event! Q: Should I bring anything? A: Yes. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, if you'd like to sit while watching speakers/entertainers. Q: Will restrooms be available at the park? A: Yes. Q: Can I participate as a Vendor? A: Yes. Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is a day dedicated to uplifting transgender and gender non-conforming individuals while increasing society's awareness of the work that remains to be done for justice, equality, and acceptance. Although our event is being held on April 1st, TDOV is internationally recognized on March 31st, annually. The day brings community together to recognize the resilience and the beautiful diversity we embody.
