We’re an inclusive hiking group for all skills levels. Our meetups are open to all adults (18+) who self-identify as women, no invitation required. Feel free to share our events with anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors in a non-intimidating setting…Because you can hike with us! Location: Crow Hassan Park Reserve. Main entrance address: 12595 Park Drive, Hanover, MN 55374. Google Maps link to exact trailhead location. We will meet near the outhouses. Cost: No cost - free! To be respectful of time, we will do quick intros and embark on our hike around 10:05am. Please ensure you allow enough travel time to arrive by 10am. Hike: This hike is approximately 3.5 miles, taking 1-2 hours depending on group pace and terrain. This hike is generally considered a moderately challenging route. The route is linked here. What to bring: Hiking boots/winter boots with good traction (if you have YakTrax or spikes it's a good idea to bring those!), dress for the weather (layers), cold weather gear (hat/gloves/scarf/neck gaiter), sunglasses, phone/camera, water, snacks Due to the larger group setting, no dogs or pets (unless they are working/service animals.) We will cap sign-ups at 40 attendees. This ensures everyone joining us has a comfortable hiking experience, and also so we don't negatively impact the experience of others recreating on the trails. Upon signing up for this hike you are agreeing to hike at your own risk.
