Starts March 14th (Tuesdays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for 6 weeks). Learn centering solutions and how to pull up a cylinder the first week. See trimming techniques and finishing options the second week. From there we will cover spouts and handles and glaze techniques. Get the basics and a good foundation with this beginner level wheel throwing class. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.  Fee does not include materials. Clay will be $3/pound which covers glazing and firing costs. NOTE: Masks are optional in this series. About the instructor: Lee Cummings has over fifty years experience working with clay--thirty as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
