We will explore breathing techniques, movement practices and age-appropriate activities that will provide teens with tools to help manage the wide variety of reactions to stressors. We begin by exploring the brain science behind our mind/body reactions and learn somatic tools to soothe our systems. We will look at how essential oils, sound, and simple asanas (stretches) can help settle our systems. We will learn how too much screen time, lack of sleep and poor nutrition can affect our bodies.
