PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING. You a reserving time to use one of our pottery wheels with the assistance of an onsite instructor. This type of session is recommended for beginners with little to no experience. These are "TRY IT" Sessions. Join us for a casual introduction to clay experience and learn how to make and paint a clay pot on a spinning pottery wheel. The session will last 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on amount of participants) and includes all of the clay, tools, and supplies needed to create 2 masterpieces per person. WHAT YOU GET FOR $75.00 Each attendee gets 3lbs of clay to create Demo and guided instruction Create up to three pieces and keep your best 2 masterpieces You have the option to purchase any additional piece(s) created for $25 each. Let us know if you will return to paint or if you want our staff to paint Leave pieces with us for drying and firing (This process takes about 2.5 weeks) We will contact you to schedule your return date to paint or we will paint After painting it will take glazed and fired (This process takes about 2 weeks) We will contact you for pickup of your masterpieces The entire process takes 4- 5 weeks. The cost is $75 per person. Typical Class Session Outline:* Instructor Introduction & overview of wheel and Clay - 10 -15 minutes*Wheel Time - 40-50 minutes ( 3lbs clay, you keep your best two pieces)*Cleanup time - 15 -30 minutes IMPORTANT STUFF.... *This class is designed for ages 10+ and is limited to 10 seats. *For the best experience, we recommend short fingernails. * Please wear cloth and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dirty and/or bring a towel *The bowls are intended to be decorative and will not be food safe.*Please be on time! Because of the structure of the class, anyone that arrives 15+ minutes late may not be allowed to join and will not be entitled to a refund. *Cancellations not within 48 hours from the start of the session will not be permitted to reschedule or receive a refund if the session is fully sold out. If the session is not fully sold out, or if the cancellation is made more than 48 hours from the start of the session, a credit for a future session will be provided (no refunds will be made).*Masks or face coverings are always suggested and appreciated but not required.
