Let’s talk about food. Why are people hungry in our city? As the price of food is skyrocketing on the shelves of every grocery store the concern of food security is rising at an alarming rate. How will we find access and affordability to enough food for every person to live an active and healthy life? This essential social issue will be a topic that does not go away unless together we create new solutions. ATL IDEAS is a group of Atlantans hoping to highlight some of the good work happening in our city addressing social concerns. We believe that Atlanta is at a critical moment and that the steps of influencers, creatives, non-profits, and our citizens during this phase will shape how our city will look decades into the future. Our topical conversations platform one big issue and surround it with leading thinkers and practitioners to instigate change in our communities for our city forward. On March 15th, we are addressing the existing systems, creative ideas, and potential solutions to our FOOD SECURITY challenges. You are personally invited to join us.
