Join the Arizona Dragon Boat Association on March 25 & 26 for two days of exciting dragon boat competition with teams from all over the United States and beyond. Dragon Boat Racing is a unique water sports activity that is sure to provide everyone an exciting experience. And yes - even the audience! Dragon Boat is (usually) a 10-row boat that allows 20 paddlers to paddle in unison, with room for a drummer at the front and a steers person at the back, and the entire boat racing towards the finish line. This fun-filled, adrenaline pumping competition may have originated in Southern China, but today, Dragon Boat races are held worldwide. It even found its way to a modern man-made lake in the middle of the Arizona desert - the Tempe Town Lake. Join AZDBA for this exciting event as they host the 18th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival on March 25 & 26.
