We have been waiting 11 long years for this! The Uproot Pie Co would like to invite the community to The Carriage House, an intimate space to gather, eat, and celebrate in this simply renovated 1800’s carriage house with a custom built wood-fired oven. Our pizza dinners offer the opportunity for longtime and new Uproot supporters to sit down, relax, and enjoy our pies any season of the year, as we cook and bake an evening meal from our new stationary wood-fired oven. Start the evening with a lite fare of local cheeses, house-made sourdough crackers, tomato chutney, pickled vegetables, and spiced nuts. Warm Spanish olives and fresh baked focaccia round out this first course. The main course will be a selection of, you guessed it, pizza! Guests will enjoy trying four varieties of our beloved sourdough wood-fired pizzas, topped with seasonal vegetables and locally sourced meat. Each guest can enjoy up to two pies, accompanied by a fresh and simply dressed farm salad. As the meal winds down, linger over a cup of Coffee on the Porch or Herbal Revolution tea and a sweet bite of a seasonal house-made dessert as we spread the ovens coals and begin blowing out candles, no need to rush. We so look forward to seeing you one of these evenings soon! BYOB Policy: The Carriage House is a BYOB establishment. Guests ages 21+ may bring and responsibly drink alcohol at The Carriage House. Our staff cannot open or serve any type of alcohol for guests. Please bring personal wine or bottle openers. We highly encourage you to support local and stop in at Flaura on Main St. in Thomaston to pick out your wine for the evening before walking down to the Carriage House. She will have our menu on hand and can guide you in the right direction! We love Flaura and know you will too! Oyster River Winegrowers, Warren Wine Shop, Luce Spirits, and Blue Barren Distillery are other local favorites. Location and Parking: The Uproot Kitchen and Carriage House are located at 9 Green St. in Thomaston. Parking is limited on Green St. and we ask guests to please use the free public parking located behind Flaura Wineshop and Flipside Cafe across Main Street. The Carriage House is just a short stroll down the block from there. Handicap parking is available at the Carriage House if needed.
