Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt- and freshwater. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with Session 2 beginning January 25 and ending March 22, 2023. Each night we are offering a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both. All materials provided. Free. WEEK 7 Beginner Pearl Zonker. Zonkers are a style of fly that uses rabbit strips to create a streamer style fly with lots of movement. Zonkers are a great fly to use during early season or high water situations. The Pearl Zonker can be a great smelt imitation and is extra effective due to its flash of red in the throat area.
