We will stroll through University Gardens, explore the area, find wildlife, and use approaches from shinrin yoku—forest bathing—to relax in nature. The session will conclude with a reflective writing activity that encourages developing your own practice in safe natural areas. This session will end just a bit before sunset, providing a perfect opportunity to walk over to watch the bats at the UF Bat Houses after the session if you choose (about a 1/2 -3/4 mile walk). This offering is free and weather dependent. Some public parking is available at the University Gardens.
