Earn SSL (Student Service Learning) hours by assisting seniors in using their smartphones. This is a great opportunity to earn some of those hours you need for graduation AND to give back to the community. Many senior citizens just need an expert (no one is more of a smartphone expert than the average high school student) to sit with them and patiently guide them through how to use their phone. Most seniors will probably need help with texting, FaceTiming, downloading apps, using Social Media and using photos and videos. If you like teaching others, working with senior citizens or just need to get a few SSL hours, register to volunteer with MCM! Where: Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center 1000 Forest Glen Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20901 When: Wednesday, March 15 from 1-3pm (you can earn 3 SSL hours by helping us set up at 12:30 and staying to clean up until 3:30) Questions?
