Who this In Person Event is for: Ages 6 -12 only. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Due to the nature of this event, we ask that children and siblings outside this age group NOT attend. What you'll be doing: Every child deserves to be loved and comforted during difficult times. Children will learn about foster care, our partner organization, My Comfy Kits, and help inventory bags and supplies that will be donated to children entering foster care. Optionally, families are invited to collect new Comfy Kit items for teens like socks, underwear, chap stick, deodorant, pajamas, feminine pads, and journals. We will provide a flyer in your confirmation email to help your child conduct their own neighborhood donation drive if you choose. Please bring your donations with the day of the event. COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events: Please review our COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming before registering for this event. Specific Instructions: Please bring camping chairs or large blankets to sit on during the event and any donations for kids entering foster care. Please note that the space we are working in tends to be a cooler temperature, so we recommend dressing in layers. Why you'll be asked to donate: Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
