In this hands-on macrame class that is perfect for the ambitious beginner, you'll be working with high quality recycled cotton rope and learn commonly used macrame knots to create a functional piece of fiber art you'll enjoy for years to come. Our Fiber Artist & Instructor Janel will provide group instruction as well as one on one guidance (as needed) so you leave with a complete project along with a sense of accomplishment and the desire to continue creating at home! Your ticket gets you knowledge, experience and a functional piece of fiber art that you make yourself. Space is limited to just 15 spots, so get your tickets today! Open to participants 21+. ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED AT CLASS. Your project will be made of a metal hoop and recycled cotton rope. Metal finish and rope color section to be made when you arrive. Colors such as wine, denim, natural, mustard, copper, red, himalayan salt, lavender, gray and taupe will be available in limited quantities. If you have a strong rope color preference please email me upon registering for class so we can work together to select your color OR arrive early to class for optimum selection. There is one size option for this project , your holder will have 3 horizontal hangers which can each hold up to 2 hats so the hanger can hold a total of 6 hats if desired. Total length is about 29” depending on how you choose to finish your project and trim fringe. You are encouraged to support this business while we enjoy their space, please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to order a cocktail and get settled in so you're ready to start promptly at 6:00pm.
