Tonawanda Community Paint Recycling Day (and bike donation)

Description

Unused paint should not be dumped into the sewers. Leftover paint products and the container are now recyclable. Our club intends to use donations to fund native tree, shrub and flower plantings to help sustain pollinators and wildlife within our watershed along the Niagara River, Ellicott, Tonawanda and Two Mile creeks. Rotary members from Tonawanda will be at the Intermodal Hub at 36 Young Street on Saturday, March 25th between 9 am and 1 pm., where they will coordinating traffic and working with GreenSheen to unload leftover paint from your vehicles. Registration is strongly encouraged to avoid congestion. We will also be accepting unused bicycles people may have which get refurbished and donated to new Americans by our partners at Wheels for Workers 716.
