The Kosovo Campaign aims to support the demining efforts in Kosovo through Halo Trust. This year, we are helping Arlatt Village, a rural community in Kosovo still affected by the residual mines from the war in 1999. The fundraiser seeks to raise funds to clear the remaining minefields, making the area safe for local residents and allowing for the development of much-needed infrastructure. With your support, we can help rebuild Arlatt Village and give its residents the chance to live without fear of landmines. The discussion panel at the dinner currently includes the Ambassador of Kosovo Mr. Ilir Dugolli; Minister Counselor Mr. Bujar Maxhuni; Scott O'Grady, an American military pilot who was shot down behind enemy lines in 1995 in Bosnia; Diana Zoga, a journalist for the Dallas NBC affiliate; Gino Mulliqi, the first Albanian-American to hold a city council seat in Texas; as well as Doc Vranici, an Albanian-American business owner.
