Campers will join us for a sun-filled morning at the botanical gardens as they complete a scavenger hunt, work on vital O&M skills, and enjoy a picnic lunch on the garden lawn. Campers will return to the Lighthouse for an afternoon of crafts and games. While this event is geared for grades K- 5, teen mentors ages 12-18 are encouraged to join! Mentors will earn volunteer hours and also participate in the day's events. Parents are also welcome to volunteer for this event. Drop-off at 310 Eads Ave at 9 a.m.Pick-up at 310 Eads Ave at 4 p.m. Early drop-off and late pick-up available by request during registration. Important notes:This event does include Lighthouse van transportation. Families MUST have a completed annual family account to participate. Campers must be able to self-manage feeding & hygiene independently unless accompanied by a caretaker, parent, or guardian. This event is a private event for SA Lighthouse members and their families. Non-member families with a blind or visually impaired child in their household are welcome to join at no cost. Please complete the Annual Family Account to complete your registration.
