Playing frequent ecstatic dances in Golden Gate Park for Ecstaturday and around the bay area for years, he has also been seen playing internationally, bringing the west coast ecstatic vibes around the world. His music focuses on the dancer, helping to unlock solo and contact dance moves that are otherwise hard to access. Through a conversation with the dancefloor, he can be heard playing classical, ambient, funk, soul, trap, hip hop, house, deep house, all wrapped up with a layer of medicine music. He is not here to play music- he is here to help you play WITH the music. See you out on the dance floor. Contact Improv: Tyler Blank has evolved his Partner Yoga experience and his time at Ecstatic Dance to practice his offering of sharing Dance with another, playing with Shared Weight, and Center of Balance, Rolling & Sliding Point of Contact, Fluid Lifts, Floor Play, and other dynamics present in this deep, intimate, playful practice.
