Join us for an evening of live music from Philly's own Los Bomberos De La Calle , games and crafts for kids, a delicious catered dinner featuring tico tacos, ceviche, Costa Rican style BBQ (w/ veggie and vegan options) and more ... all in support of our 8th graders and their upcoming Costa Rica Exchange! The Costa Rica Exchange program has been a highlight of the GSFS middle school experience for nearly two decades. Covid paused the trip for a few years, but now for the first time since the spring of 2019, our middle schoolers will have the opportunity to take this adventure of a lifetime. They will spend ten days exploring Costa Rica's beautiful landscape, while learning about the culture, history, customs, and traditions of the country. Most excitingly, they will have an opportunity to connect with Costa Rican students their age, and build bridges of friendship and understanding.
