The Charleston Area Beekeepers Association (CABA) and the Charleston Parks Conservancy is excited to present the 2023 Bee Expo at Brittlebank Park on Saturday April 15th. This is a FREE family-friendly educaiton event where we will bring in local beekeepers from the Lowcountry to educate about bees and products of the hive like honey, wax, and royal jelly. We will also be joined by experts on native plants who will be teaching about how to plant for pollinators and reduce and manage chemical application. We will have hands-on activities for all ages, local honey products and natural hand-made crafts for sale, live music and food trucks. We are doing our best to make this a zero-waste and ecofriendly event so we encouarge everyone to please bring their own waterbottle and consider biking or coming together with friends for transportation!
