Our SA-Z Educators Conference disrupt the educator-student power dynamic by centering the lived experiences and knowledge of Undocumented youth. Educators in attendance will receive 4 hours of PD. Attendees who prefer to attend virtually will be sent the Zoom link the week of the event.
COVID Safety Plan for In-Person Conference Attendance
We strongly encourage attendees to get tested before the event (by March 29) and to disclose positive results with us by emailing [email protected] by March 31st. We ask that if you are feeling any COVID symptoms on the day of the event or if you tested positive, that you please attend virtually instead.
We also ask that everyone who attends in person, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask in observance of keeping our immunocompromised relatives safe and reducing risk of transmission. We will have surgical masks available on site, however these do not provide the same level of safety as N95, KN95 and KF94 masks. If you have these types of masks, we encourage you to wear them.
We ask for mask use in indoor spaces and whenever you are standing less than 6 ft away from other people.
We will have access to an outside eating space in the courtyard. There will also be indoor seating in the small auditorium for those comfortable with that, however, we encourage social distancing if you choose to eat inside.
