10:00 AM - Indoor Commemorative Event with music, speakers, poetry, awards. 11:30 AM - Commemorative March to Kelly Ingram Park, site of the Three Ministers Kneeling monument. 12 PM - 1:30 PM - Poetry in the Park with tour groups visiting historic sites and reciting engaging poetry. 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM - Listen to a variety of musicians in a festival atmosphere of Jazz, Gospel, and a variety of music at St. Paul; an outdoor event Enhance and shape your visit to meet the interest of your family or group by using the bounce houses for children, purchasing lunch from food trucks, engaging vendors and sponsors, visiting the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (need to register), visiting 16th Street Baptist Church museum (need to register), purchasing books by poets, standing where Dr. Joseph preached and learn of the role of St. Paul in the Civil Rights movement, and much more.
