The Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone is inviting you to join us for an in-person BIZ Connect on Thursday, March 9 at the GM Renaissance Center's Wintergarden. The program (morning and afternoon session) includes representatives from major events happening in Downtown Detroit over the summer and fall months.
We have confirmed speakers representing Visit Detroit, Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix and the Downtown Detroit Partnership who will talk about how to leverage upcoming events to benefit your businesses, and the City of Detroit Department of Homeland Security will share how you can connect to its new emergency communications system.
There will be light refreshments. Spots are limited, register today!
Morning Session: 9-11 a.m.
Late Afternoon Session: 4-6 p.m.
The Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone (BIZ) creates a clean, safe, and vibrant Downtown through services provided to property owners, businesses, residents and employees. The BIZ works in collaboration with the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The team is dedicated to enhancing the overall appeal of the Downtown Detroit Central Business District. BIZ services include hospitality, cleaning, a robust lighting program, safety, parks maintenance, urban planning and business outreach and engagement that benefits Downtown patrons, visitors and stakeholders. The financial contributions of Downtown property owners through a special assessment allows the BIZ to serve the Downtown community. The team also provides access to resources, events, and timely information regarding all things happening in the Downtown in relation to local businesses.
