Brief presentations to empower, inspire and educate on various relevant topics for women veterans. Ms. Rahjanni Iusi. (See her Bio below) Rahjanni Iusi- Biography Rahjanni is a US Army Veteran and advocate in the area of mental health, with a focus on post-traumatic stress, substance use disorder and suicide prevention/intervention. Her passion for helping others stems from her time in the United States Army as a Military Intelligence Analyst and paratrooper in the Special Operations community. She was an integral part of four deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom over her military career. Through military service, multiple deployments, personal tragedy, and PTSD her purpose was revealed. She attended and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master of Social Work degree. She currently works at Banyan Treatment Centers as a primary therapist for their Military and Veterans in Recovery (MVR) Program. Traveling between Banyan’s various South Florida treatment centers she works diligently facilitating therapeutic groups and individual sessions for veteran clients, advocating for veteran issues and providing veteran sensitivities training for staff. Rahjanni is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and working towards professional licensure. She is driven by her desire to empower people to turn their tragedies into triumphs.
