New Directions is thrilled to kick off 2023 with our annual EmpowHER Event on March 3rd to celebrate International Women's Day in partnership with Women United of Knox County. This event is designed to engage women throughout our community as they come together to feel inspired and uplifted. Doors for this event will open at 5pm, with balcony seating opening at 6pm. From 5-6:45pm, attendees can enjoy connecting with one another, and have an opportunity to browse female-owned, small businesses selling their merchandise and services at the event. Our program will begin at 6:45pm with a brief keynote address focused on women's empowerment, leadership, and connection. Our 2023 award winners will be announced immediately following. Please note this is a women-only event. This year, our theme is "Be Fierce," and as such, we are encouraging attendees to wear animal print!
