About Us IAMNOW DMV/NOW 2.0 is an organization of women dedicated to community service. The principal purpose of this organization will engage in cultural, educational, faith-based, and social service activities. To establish, maintain, and encourage high cultural, and moral standards to meet the needs of individuals in the community. We will have women empowerment conferences, fundraising events for the homeless, veterans, displaced families, and victims of gun violence. We will assist in providing relief to children in local group homes and transitional youth services. The organization was created to form a stronger bond to connect women across the world to make charitable contributions and to offer volunteer services in the community. The women in the organization are mothers, sisters, entrepreneurs, and professionals serving to give back to the community. Candle-Making Experience Ambyance Fragrances is based out of Olde Towne Portsmouth, VA. We host candle making classes on site as well as private events or corporate functions. Ambyance Fragrances is a retail candle shop that has the Only Candle Bar in Portsmouth, VA. We are well known and are a community favorite for premiere home and body fragrances. Today's class includes all candle making supplies. We will donate 25% of all proceeds collected for candle making to the Kathy Jackson Educational Scholarship. Kathy Jackson Educational Scholarship In 2021, devoted IAMNOW DMV/NOW 2.0 member, Diamond Diva Kathy Jackson passed away. Kathy exuded a giver's heart in her daily life. Her passing left a void; however, her light still shines bright. As her Diamond sisters along with the blessing of her family, we established the Kathy Jackson Educational Scholarship.
