OCC Gravestone Repair Workshop, Sat, April 8, 9am-12noon--Are you interested in learning how to repair historic gravestones and possibly volunteering at Old City Cemetery? OCC is holding a training workshop led by City Museum Director Ted Delaney and Gravestone Repair Volunteers Mack Callaham and Linnie Dudley on Wednesday, April 5 at 9am-12noon. We are seeking people who are detail-oriented, like to work with their hands, interested in history and conservation of old artifacts. Heavy-lifting is not required and most of the work is done inside a workshop. Wear outdoor work clothes and close-toed shoes. Tickets: $10 a piece. Reservations required: www.gravegarden.org
