ChickenStop Food Truck and Tradition Brewing are excited to bring you the first, Food Trucks VS Restaurants Chili Cookoff. We asked 4 local food trucks and 4 local restaurants to join us in helping to raise money for Thrive Peninsula…so we thought…. Let’s have some fun and create a little friendly competition. Let’s run down all the details for the event... Each food truck and restaurant will offer 2 different styles of chili for you to vote on. Tickets are $40 and include: 16 samples of chili (4oz each) 1 - 12 oz beer of your choice Tokens to vote for your favorite chili Titles up for grabs: Best food truck chili Best restaurant chili Best overall – fan favorite. The event is 1-4 and tickets may be purchased in the taproom. A portion of every ticket will go directly to Thrive Peninsula. Thrive will be on site during the competion and we are asking for tickets holders to please bring a few non-perishable food items for donation. So, what do you say? Are you ready for some hearty chili, everything from white chili, spicy, to big game chili? Throw in a few beers and your ticket purchase gives back to the community at the same time…seems like the perfect winter Sunday Funday to us.
