Each turning point in the seasonal wheel of the year brings forward a portal of transformation, and the Spring Equinox marks the day when light and dark are once again equal in length thus bringing our awareness to balance. This is a powerful time to attune your body, mind, and emotions to the changes around you, and to enhance yourself to find balance and inner calm. This year, Wandering Sound Bath has joined together with Forest Moon Creations and Mountain Freedom to create an elevated space to celebrate the Spring Equinox (Ostara) and raise your vibration. Join us for an acoustic healing journey that combines two powerful modalities of healing: Sound Healing and Reiki, on Saturday, March 18th 6:00 - 8:00 PM and find your state of perfect balance. The event will begin with a tea ceremony and an explanation of the Spring Equinox and how you can best work with this energy to find better balance in your life. A custom, intentionally made blend will be diffused into the air as you lie back with your blankets and pillows. Amber will guide you through an intentionally written meditation specific to this event. The sound bath will commence with Reiki being done simultaneously allowing you to drift off into a deep meditative state. Additionally included, you will be able to select from 11 different high quality, high vibrational essential oils to custom create your own unique blend to use during this season in either a lotion, massage oil, or room spritz. ABOUT YOUR HOST Amber has studied music for over 20 years, earned a bachelor's degree in Music Performance, and has spent the last 5 years studying energy and music therapy, holding sound baths to help others in their journey of personal health, balance and wellness. She is passionate about the Moon, Music, and helping others to create Freedom in their life. ABOUT MOUNTAIN FREEDOM Nathan is an outdoor enthusiast, father of 5 who enjoys taking long mountain hikes, whether alone or with his kids. He started studying Aromatherapy in 2021 to help support his and his family's wellness. He started his own Aromatherapy/Wellness consultation practice in 2022 and became NAHA Certified in 2023. WHAT IS A SOUND BATH? A sound bath is an acoustic sound healing journey that relaxes the body, calms the mind, re-calibrates your body, clears the subconscious, and activates your body’s natural healing systems through resonant frequencies made by Crystal Tones alchemy quartz crystal bowls, drums, and more. WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing WHAT TO BRING We recommend bringing items that will allow you to lie down and be comfortable, including, but not limited to, a yoga mat, blankets and a pillow for comfort. You are welcome to bring crystals you feel called to have to aid in the flow of your energy. Do not be late! Admittance will not be allowed once the sound bath begins.
