The Zeta Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta at Texas Tech University will host it's Annual Shamrock Pickleball Tournement to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Children's Advocacy Center of Lubbock. Kappa Delta will host its tournament Saturday, March 4th, 2023.
The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations. To date, Kappa Delta has donated over $26 million nationally to prevent child abuse across the country. With your support, we can continue to make impact on the lives of children within our community and nationwide. Thank you so much!
The last day to register for Pickleball is March 2nd, 2023.
We will have a morning bracket for community members, split into advanced and beginner, the afternoon bracket for Greek Life members, split into Fraternity and Sorority.
When you purchase a ticket, there is no place to put who your partner is. You can either purchase the 2 tickets together or separtely! When check-in times are released, you will come to the information table with your partner to sign in as a team.
The tournament will be held at the Texas Tech Recreation Center at their outdoor pickle ball courts. The courts are located on the corner of Main St. and Flint Ave. There is parking in front of the Texas Tech Kinesiology and Sport Management building or at the Recreation Center.
Prizes will be awarded to winners from each bracket!
