This class will introduce you to using inlay to decorate and embellish what would normally be a bland cutting board. A series of cuts will be made in a cross hatch pattern allowing you to insert decorative thin stock pieces into your contrasting cutting board. Once the pattern has been completed, you will first run your board through a drum sander to level it then finish with a random orbital sander. Finishing touches will include rounded edges using a router and a food safe oil.
