Mobilize Berkeley warmly invites you to join our Community Climate Healing Gathering event. This will be a space for all to come together and heal from the many challenges we face and share stories of resilience, regenerative practices and resources. As well as providing a space for physical activities, such as gardening, for those who come to relax and reconnect with their community and the earth. We've been doing healing gatherings across Berkeley and we really wanted to do this next on at People's Park. There has been a lot happening with the park within the past year and we believe that it's an important site of healing for everybody. We're excited to work with Park organizers to put on this event where we’ll be graced with live music, speakings, and other performances. Further, we will be having in-person events such as gardening, dancing, and more. We invite environmental organizations to bring any promotional materials to share for our Resource Table. About Mobilize Berkeley Mobilize Berkeley is a coalition of Berkeley-based nonprofit organizations, including Green the Church, Collective Resilience, Climate Emergency Mobilization Task Force, and the Student Environmental Resource Center Our vision is to lead an intergenerational citywide sustained mobilization towards stopping climate destruction and participating in a just transition toward sustainable, more equitable and healthier ways of living and working. Our diverse group of intergenerational and interracial passionate community members provides a space where people can share perspectives without judgement and focuses on talking, connecting, and empathizing deeply with others through consistent check-ins. Our main service is hosting healing circles where the community can come together and engage in fun healing activities.
