Get outdoors, meet friends, and get over the Wednesday Hump as we hike to the Rancho Penasquitos Waterfall via Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. The trail to the waterfall is an easy and relatively flat 5-mile out-and-back trail that winds through the oaks and across the creeks to the scenic and gurgling waterfall. Look for the rich biodiversity in the canyon which boasts over 500 plant species, and more than 175 types of birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. Walk It Out hikes are fun, mid-week hikes that bring people together who enjoy hiking, meeting new friends, and growing community.
