Want to make a difference in the life of a veteran? Put together a team for the 18th annual Scramble for Freedom Golf Tournament sponsored by the West Central Missouri Veterans Assistance League. Proceeds will enhance the lives of the veterans living at the Missouri Veterans Home-Warrensburg. This four-person scramble will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 4, at Royal Oaks Golf Course at Whiteman Air Force Base. A shot-gun start will be at 10 a.m. Opening remarks will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a presentation of the colors. The cost is $260 per team and includes lunch, 18 holes of golf and a golf cart. The first place prize is $400 for each flight (up to 3 flights). Space is limited to 36 teams. This is a wonderful chance to make the dreams of our veterans come true.
