The 70s and 80s were decades filled with great music by artists such as Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, and so many more. Many of the hits from that era are still cherished today. We believe one reason for these songs’ enduring success is that they incorporated elements of jazz into their music. And they usually included horns! Similarly, jazz has grown and reinvented itself through the years by assimilating the best elements from other genres. Funk, Rock, R&B, and Pop have all left their marks on the jazz we enjoy today.
