This special workshop is for people who want to train realistic options for defense against knife attacks. Up to the present-day, the knife is one of the most dangerous weapons. Sadly, de-escalation or escape are not always an option and the defense against a knife attack carries tremendous risks. Many attacks occur between people who already know each other, people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, but also during armed robberies. It’s a fact that anybody could become the victim of an armed attack. Aim of the Workshop: People who have never dealt with knife attacks – theoretically or practically – will very likely not stand a chance to defend themselves against a knife attack. Even comprehensive training does not necessarily prevent injury, as each attack follows its own rules (weak reaction, bad timing, poor positioning in a defense situation…).
