WTS Arkansas' quarterly lunch program will be hosted a on March 8, 2023. Join us as we hear from Allison Atkinson on a discussion about The Art of Conflict! Conflict happens, it is natural part of a productive workplace. Understanding how it happens and how your respond to it can make all the difference in the outcome. Allison will discuss the role of conflict at work and how we can better make it work for us instead of against us. Allison Atkinson Niadj is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and a graduate of Little Rock Central High School. She is a practicing LCSW and Certified Employee Assistance Professional who received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has since been an adjunct and field instructor for the social work graduate program. Allison currently works at the local employee assistance program, SWEAP Connections. Her background working with children, teens and families has been a great pairing with the solution focused, goal oriented work at the EAP. She has worked at SWEAP Connections since 2013, and is the Director or Organizational Development. She has a hand in all of the SWEAP services, including providing counseling, training, account management, and organizational development to our partnered companies. Outside of the office, Allison serves as the President of the UAMS Auxiliary Board, an Advisory Member to the Arkansas Problem Gambling Council, she was a member of Class XII of Leadership Arkansas and is currently in Class XXXVIII of Leadership Greater Little Rock. She and her husband enjoying cooking, baking and spending time with their two rescue puppies.
