Learn to use various pliers and wire cutters combined with chain, wire, and vintage beads to create a beautiful handmade necklace. During this hands-on make + take workshop, participants will learn wire work techniques, ideal for jewelry making. Practice with single beads and continue adding to build up a unique piece. Meg will walk you through each step, bead by bead, until you are connecting the chain and clasp to make a necklace. Explore an array of beads and materials while you master the various tools and techniques. No experience needed - just patience and the desire to learn something new. All tools and materials are included and everyone will take home a finished necklace. About the Instructor: Meg has been a lifelong collector of antique beads. Her jewelry line, De Petites Merveilles, was born out of passion for these little works of art and the desire to share their beauty and history with everyone. Her focus is on creating quality pieces that can be treasured and enjoyed for many many years.
