In this workshop, participants will learn a traditional Turkish marbling technique known as Ebru Art. Gloria Baltali, the presenter for this workshop, is from Istanbul, Turkey. After completing her studies through the Department of Turkish Teacher Education, she came to the United States for her master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and a second master's degree in Special Education. Currently, she teaches and writes children's books along with creating traditional Ebru marbling art. She concentrates on traditional flowers as well as contemporary forms and designs in her work. Participants will receive 2 hours of Act 48 credit.
