The federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 includes $369 billion in financial incentives to help local communities reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, build climate resiliency, shift to clean energy in our homes, buildings and transportation infrastructure, and develop our local workforce for the clean energy economy. There are billions in federal funding available for homeowners as well as businesses, non-profit organizations, local governments, schools and faith-based organizations. We will share the latest info available about federal IRA incentive funding. We will encourage conversation, surface questions, identify opportunities for Bend, and invite community members to get involved and take advantage of this opportunity.
