Multi-generations HdG resident, family historian, motivational speaker, mentor, minister, & friend, Reggie Bishop, will share his vast knowledge of the history of the black community in Havre de Grace and it's affiliated black churches. Topics include the general history of the first black owned church in Harford County, networks within a community, benevolent groups, education efforts, and trades & labor. A question/answer period will follow the lecture of approximately 45 minutes.
