Starting kindergarten is a big step, and naturally, you want to do everything you can to prepare your child to start with confidence. That’s where Girl Scouts comes in. Our kindergarten readiness course, Make New Friends, is free and open to all future Girl Scouts starting kindergarten this fall. This series allows your future Girl Scout to connect with the same friends, as well as with Girl Scout staff and volunteers who will lead sessions based on the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes. This series also provides a "try-it" experience by introducing families to Girl Scouts. Schedule: Saturday, March 18, 2023 - Session 1: Make New FriendsSaturday, March 25, 2023 - Session 2: Robot FriendsThink of the Girl Scout Daisy program as your one-stop shop when it comes to building your kindergartener's or first grader’s social skills, keeping them moving, and offering an extra bit of stability in this ever-changing world.
