It is a way to become known in your community and can lead to more substantial work as you build a client base and receive referrals from your service and the presence of your work on their social media. We will talk about the important consultation for intention that leads to what to wear, hair & make-up, which background settings to use and then move to delivery intentions. Next we get technical as Lori shares her camera settings for different scenarios. She will also discuss various posing and expression techniques based on intention in a live demonstration. Other topics will include lighting setups (studio and on location kits and background choices that need to be made for clients best representation. This class will give you the experience of hands-on shooting with other students where you will be in front and behind the camera practicing posing, expression, cropping in camera and more, you will be ready to go home and start building this viable segment to your studio brand. Lori Patrick specializes in setting up the look and then coaching from back of your camera. We limit this class to 8 attendees to ensure your success. You will make your newest friends while learning this skill as a group. ***This is an Intermediate to Advanced Class intended for photographers looking to expand their hs training. Knowledge of camera basics and exposure is critical. Lori will help get you through if struggling. Symposium Sampler on You TubeLori Patrick brings her legacy style portraiture to Art Factory Studios via her Portrait Symposiums. She has traveled the globe seeking images with a journalistic eye. The "PortraitWalk" is intended to provide education by experts in the field for all skill levels of photographers seeking community while learning the aspects of designing portraits. Photographer education is in the forefront of Lori’s expertise whether 1:1 or small groups via cultural travel focusing on portfolio builds and practice for an ever changing industry. Lori has taught at conferences such as WPPI over 4 years, PhotoPLUS and B&H Depth of Field & Event Space. She resides in the Pocono Mountain region and is a 'part time New Yorker' working and playing in both places while constantly dreaming up ways to connect photographers in unique learning environments to make the next great image.
