In this workshop, educators will learn trauma-sensitive research-based interventions that are proven to work with students who are struggling with behavior-while learning more about the causes of common classroom behavior. This training pushes educators to address students’ needs based on their social/emotional standing rather than grade-level expectations or norms. Participants will leave with a multitude of strategies that can be modified to a student where they are.
General and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, social workers, counselors, and administrators are encouraged to attend.
Your $30 fee includes lunch. 6 PD hours, CEUs, NASP, and CEs will be provided.
Partial fees for this workshop have been paid by the Community Partnership Grant and the SEL Hub.
